| If you are considering a daycare service for your dog, I can heartily recommend the staff and facilities at You Lucky Dog. I feel fortunate to have found a place for Teddy to stay during the day. The staff at You Lucky Dog are attentive to the needs of each individual dog. They seem to have the welfare of each dog at heart. The program is well structured, providing for exercise, play, interaction between dogs and between dogs and the staff, nap time, and meal time. Teddy is tired and happy when he comes home in the evening. In the past he had trouble staying in the apartment because he would bark at every passerby. He would sometimes make a mess of things out of boredom. Teddy is a challenging dog because of his need for stimulation. He is very smart, curious, and energetic. The staff at You Lucky Dog appreciate his qualities and give him the opportunity to do the things he likes best. He is a happier dog, and I am a happier dog owner for having found You Lucky Dog. -C. Scott I'm not sure who enjoys You Lucky Dog more: my wife and I, or our dog Bubba. Bubba is a lab mix that we adopted from the Mitchell Mill Animal Hospital Rescue program. She is a sweet dog, but we could tell that she craved canine companionship, and You Lucky Dog has been the answer! Wendy, Mike and the rest of the You Lucky Dog staff are great. Not only do they provide a secure and safe environment for Bubba to play and bond with other dogs, but they also have given us great advice on ways we can make Bubba a better and happier pet. Bubba comes home from You Lucky Dog exhausted and contented. Before we found You Lucky Dog, my wife and I would come home from work to face a dog starving for companionship and exercise. We walked her and played with her, but it was clear that she needed more exercise and time with other dogs. Her untapped energy would sometime manifest itself in some unwanted behavior, such as barking and defiance. That behavior pretty much disappeared immediately once we began taking Bubba to You Lucky Dog. One visit a week to You Lucky Dog became two visits, and two visits has now become three. My wife and I look forward to those days as much as Bubba. We know that while we are working, Bubba is having the time of her doggy life, playing and interacting with all of the other great dogs at You Lucky Dog. Bubba truly is living a dog's life. -Jim and Wanda Hi! My name is Mollie and I LOVE going to You Lucky Dog! My mom has been bringing me here 2-3 times a week since she adopted me about a year and half ago. My mom says I am a princess so only the best is good enough for me! I have even been able to stay overnight a couple of times. I heard mom talk about how she "checked it out" before she brought me here. I am not sure what that means but I do know she poked around everywhere and talked to my human friends about some stuff before she would let me stay. All I know is that I love all the attention I get here. My canine friends are the best! Before I started coming here I was not sure how to act around other dogs but now I am a real party girl! I have even learned some manners which my mom is happy about (still working on not jumping on people when I see them!). Anyway I hope my mom always lets me come to You Lucky Dog because when I do, I am one Happy Dog! -Mollie D. |
